I went to Pride saturday. It was fun, as usual, and i've been hit on by many, many, many, many MEN. No really. Come on, people. It was Pride! I was wearing a white ribbed tank top! And a rainbow bracelet! And a shiny rainbow bottle opener keychain! (because it's sad and thirsty when you don't have a shiny rainbow bottle opener keychain in your life). How many clues do you need?
Well, OK, I could have been bi, but it would have been nice to have at least one lady flirt with me (and I mean one who would actually FLIRT with me, because being all friendly doesn't count at Pride).
Dear 2010, stop sucking, please.
More seriously, it was a bit disheartening to see so few people. I live in a big city, but sadly the lgbt community is not huge here. But I got some flyers advertising a lot of interesting associations and I'll try to check them out in the fall. I'd like to participate more actively in the associative life of my town, even though that's a bit intimidating for me (and by that, I mean that I'm fucking terrified).
